Toate verbele (cu exceptia auxiliarelor si modelelor) formeaza interogativ si negativ cu ajutorul lui TO DO. Iata cum se intampla la PREZENT, exemplu verbul TO SEE Do I see? I do not see. [vad eu? Nu vad] Do you see? You do not see. [vezi tu? Nu vezi] Does he (she)(it) see? He (she) (it) does not see. [vede el/ea/? Nu vede] etc... Do we see? We do not see. Do they see? They do not see. Acelasi lucru se intampla la TRECUT. Forma de trecut a verbului "to do" este DID. Exemple: Did I see? I did not see. [am vazut eu? Nu am vazut] etc.... Did you see? You did not see Did he (she) (it) see? He (she) (it) did not see... etc....
